Petitenget Beach is a wide stretch of sand with a few upmarket resorts and beach clubs, such as Potato Head and Mano Beach House. If beach clubs are not your thing, there is plenty of space to stretch your own towel, or you can rent a sun lounger and umbrella. 

During the day, the beach is pretty quiet with a few sunbathers, and if you’re lucky, you can spot local people taking part in a Balinese ceremony in the nearby Pura Petienget. 

But as the day transitions to evening, that’s when it really comes alive. It’s a hotspot for sunset viewing, and the crowds build up, making it a bustling, energetic place.

On the surf front, you’ve got some decent wave action towards the southern edge, especially for beginners, that won’t feel like a bumper car arena- way less crowded than surf spots in Uluwatu or Canggu. And when you’re ready to lounge, there’s no shortage of sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. 

Now, let’s talk food. You can’t swing by Seminyak Beach without checking out La Plancha. It’s not just a Mexican eatery, but a vibey place to hang! It is known for its colourful bean bags, quirky umbrellas, and food that tastes as good as it looks. It’s our go-to beach spot whenever we are in the area.

Trust us; it’s the kind of place where you’ll catch your first wave and immediately want to catch another.
