How to get to Ubud From Airport

If you’re travelling from the international Bali airport to Ubud, you’ve got a few good transport options to choose from.

GRAB

If you’re travelling to Ubud, getting there from the airport is a smooth and hassle-free experience with GRAB.

Grab is an Asian version of Uber, and it is a more affordable alternative to taxis. You can order a lift through the Grab App, where you can also read driver’s reviews and get a trip estimate.

But there is no need to worry about getting a SIM card or downloading the app when you just arrive in Bali. There is a Grab Lounge located just outside the Arrivals where the Grab staff (they wear green uniforms) can help you with ordering your first Grab lift. You can wait in their air-conditioned waiting room, and they will call you when your drive arrives.

Don’t forget to withdraw cash at the airport to pay the driver for the ride.

We use Grab very often and find it an extremely reliable, safe, and, what’s more, super affordable way to travel in Bali.
