Bali Mandira is located in the popular Legian, tucked between Seminyak and Kuta. Legian is known for being Bali’s family-friendly destination and home to some of the best resorts on the island.
Conveniently located just 20 minutes from the international airport and an hour from Ubud, you’ll have no trouble exploring all the surrounding areas. And, for those looking to catch some waves, the world-renowned Uluwatu surf break is just 45 minutes away.
Also, the resort is surrounded by a range of excellent restaurants like Lemongrass Thai and Makan Place – guaranteed to delight your taste buds with their unique flavours.

Bali Mandira Rooms
Mandira Club Suite
Our stay at Mandira Club Suite was filled with relaxation and comfort. We loved the boho beach decor, beautiful teak wood furniture and Balinese accessories in our room.
The suite was also equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a stocked-up minibar and a platter of seasonal Balinese fruits. We really appreciated a little booklet that had interesting information about each fruit!
We were also pleasantly surprised by the king-size bed and the varying softness of the pillows, allowing us to have ultimate comfort at night. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided.
We also enjoyed the large day bed with plush cushions and the floor-to-ceiling window, which made for a perfect place to read a book and enjoy an afternoon cup of coffee.
The Moroccan-styled bathroom was an added touch of luxury with the free-standing bathtub, beautiful azul-blue tiles and premium toiletries.
Our room also came with club benefits, which included access to the elegant Suling Lounge, where every day, we enjoyed a free-flow cocktail hour, complimentary soft drinks and afternoon tea with delicious sweet and savoury snacks.

Facilities At Bali Mandira Resort & Spa
Complimentary breakfast
Depending on what room you book, you’ll get either a buffet-style or a la carte-breakfast at the beach club.
Since we stayed at the Mandira Club Suite, we could enjoy the premium a la carte breakfast at the Azul Beach Club. We loved coming early in the morning, taking a seat at one of the tables on the sand, and having a coffee while looking at the ocean.
We also enjoyed starting our day with Jammu juice, which is a traditional Balinese drink made of lime, ginger and turmeric, believed to be beneficial for your health.
The a la carte menu included a selection of smoothie bowls (our favourite), avo on toast, full English breakfast and Indonesian-style breakfast.
There was also a buffet selection of fresh juices, fruit, delicious freshly-baked pastries and other savoury breakfast delights.
Azul Beach Club
Azul Beach Club is our favourite place in the whole resort. It’s an adult-only space where you can kick back and relax.
We enjoyed chilling on a comfy cabana bed by the infinity pool and often taking dips in the fabulous pool that overlooks the ocean and the rest of the resort.
And what’s a pool day without a refreshing cocktail? Luckily there is a fantastic range of fun drinks to enjoy while reading a book or sitting in the jacuzzi. On Sundays, they also have a special mojito menu. If you’re a mojito lover, you’ll definitely be in for a treat.
The lunch menu was also really good, with a diverse selection of options like pizzas, sandwiches, burritos, and seafood. We opted for fish and chips and a club sandwich, which were both delicious.
In the afternoons, they also often have live music and entertainment, such as salsa dance classes.
We enjoyed the Azul Beach Club so much that we were back for sunset drinks and dinner in one of their oceanfront pods. Make sure to book the pod in advance, as they are pretty popular!
The dinner menu at Azul Beach Club is the perfect choice for those who love to explore different tastes and flavours, from the delectable starters such as salads, meze, and soups to the mouth-watering main course that includes a range of pasta and seafood options, something for everyone.
Bali Mandira Spa
Our visit to Mandira’s Glow Spa was a truly indulging and relaxing experience. Their fabulous treatments left us truly pampered, but what stood out the most was the high level of professionalism.
We’ve been to many spas in Bali, and we can honestly say this was one of our best experiences so far. We had a 60-minute Balinese massage, followed by a relaxing flower bath.
From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed and treated with the utmost care and attention. The tranquil atmosphere was perfect for unwinding and immersing ourselves in pure bliss. The therapists were knowledgeable and skilled, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
We loved the cute robes and slippers and the beautiful lemon foot soak we were given to start off the treatment. We also had a super relaxing time in the flower bath, sipping a lovely ginger tea.
The treatments left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered, eager to plan our next visit to this luxurious spa.
Restaurants
Apart from Azul Beach Club, there is also Celagi Restaurant which serves buffet breakfast in the mornings and mouth-watering Indonesian cuisine in the afternoons and evenings.
Another place where you can dine at Bali Mandira is the beachfront Barong Bar, where you can indulge in wood-fired pizza, a selection of salads, sandwiches and burgers. In the evenings, you can also come here for a cocktail or a bottle of chilled local beer.
Next to the bar, there is also an ice cream shop.
Pools
The resort boasts 4 awesome pools. The first pool, and our absolute favourite, is the infinity adults-only pool located at the Azul Beach Club.
The second pool is the largest, lagoon-style pool, perfect for adults and children. It has a sandy shore on one side with loungers, cabanas at the back and a swim-up pool bar in the middle.
There is also a small pool with two waterslides and a shallow pool with sun loungers.
Gym
If you’re looking to stay active during your vacation in Bali, you’ll be pleased to know that Bali Mandira Resort has a fully-equipped gym available for guests to use. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to keep up with your fitness routine while away from home, this gym has everything you need to get a great workout in.
From cardio equipment like treadmills and stationary bikes to weights and strength training machines, there are options for every type of exercise. We were actually very impressed with how well-equipped the gym was since most hotel gyms are not. It definitely felt really good to be able to keep up with our fitness routine!
Kids Club
The Bali Mandira offers an exciting Kids Club for children from 10 am to 6 pm. Throughout the course of the day, the club offers a range of activities that are designed to keep your little ones engaged and entertained. From fun kids’ yoga to face painting, pizza making, jewellery making, and Balinese dress-up – there is something for every kid to enjoy.
Additionally, for parents who need a break, the Bali Mandira also offers babysitting services.
Other Events & Activities
At the Bali Mandira Hotel, guests are treated to a wide array of activities and events to keep them entertained and engaged throughout their stay.
One particularly exciting event is the circus night, complete with a mesmerizing fire and dance show that is not to be missed, followed by a BBQ dinner in the outdoor setting. We got a chance to participate in the circus night, and it was a fun night! We particularly enjoyed watching the magic show that was part of the entertainment.
And for some more laid-back enjoyment, the resort also hosts movie nights in their beautiful outdoor setting. Guests can also take surf classes to improve their technique or practice some morning yoga. And for guests staying in private pool villas, the resort offers a truly unique experience with the floating breakfast, an indulgent way to start the day.

Our Experience At Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa
During our stay at Bali Mandira Resort, we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home, which is always very important to us. The service throughout the hotel and the beach club was really impeccable.
Another highlight of our trip was the spa. We indulged in a Balinese massage and a flower bath, allowing ourselves to truly relax and unwind. The spa experience was incredibly romantic, and we left feeling pampered and rejuvenated.
We also had a blast at the Azul Beach Club, where we enjoyed relaxing in the pool and sipping on refreshing cocktails.
Also, as club members, we were able to take advantage of exclusive benefits, such as a cocktail hour at the club lounge. With a wide range of delicious cocktails on offer, including classics like the margarita and the mojito, as well as intriguing creations like the caramel espresso martini, there’s something to please every palate.
Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet and fruity concoction or something a little stronger, the expert mixologists at the Club Lounge will be happy to whip up a drink that’s perfect for you.
