Lumbini Luxury Villas has some of the best private pools of all the villas in Jimbaran, as well as a large public pool where you can socialise with other guests.
LOCATION | The beach and its seaside eateries are a 10-minute walk from the complex, but there are also a couple of cheap and cheerful joints just outside the villa complex gate where you can try some local eats.
FACILITIES | There’s a good-sized public pool at Lumbini Luxury Villas, complemented by a bar. For more substantial fare, the in-house restaurant plates up a mix of international and Indonesian dishes. Other facilities include a spa, a gym, and free bicycles that you can hop on for further afield explorations.
If you want to explore some of the other nearby beaches, the property has a free daily shuttle service to Kuta and Nusa Dua. There’s also free parking on-site if you prefer to drive yourself.
ROOMS | There are 76 modern-minimalist villas on offer here, each one with its own private pool. LOCATION | A little inland, you’ll probably need a car to reach the local beaches unless you don’t mind a 25-minute stroll along the side of the road. There is a decent supermarket nearby, however, if you want to shop for your own food.
FACILITIES | Given how far the resort is from local attractions, we appreciate that Abi Bali provides both motorbike and car rentals on-site. If you decide to go with another company for your vehicle, however, there is free private parking on site.
There are a couple of public pools where you can socialise with other guests, complemented by a fitness centre and a spa with salon. Rounding out the facilities, the Spize Restaurant serves up a melange of Indonesian, Western, and Asian items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

LOCATION | Balangan Beach is a short walk away, though the airport takes a little longer to reach compared to some other villas in Jimbaran at just over half an hour’s drive.

There’s also a very nice daily breakfast, as well as optional beauty services. If you want to avoid driving, the property can rent you a bicycle to get to the various nearby attractions.
ROOMS | This four-bedroom villa can house up to eight people, who can enjoy the spacious house’s two living rooms, four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a well-manicured garden.

FACILITIES | Parking is included, but you can also rent a bicycle or a car from the property. Fishing and diving are popular nearby activities, which can be organised with the help of the management company.

What we like most about this property is not the outdoor pool – although that is awesome – but the sunset views from the upstairs balcony, which are spectacular.
LOCATION | A simple restaurant shack is just across the road if you want to grab a nearby meal, or you can head to Balangan Beach in around 15 minutes for a greater variety of dining options.
FACILITIES | As with many independent villas in Jimbaran, this one doesn’t come with many amenities beyond an outdoor pool, private parking, and the option for an airport transfer. While you’ll have to self-cater, the upside is you’ll have complete privacy.
ROOMS | This property is massive – 10,764 square feet, to be exact – with five bedrooms able to accommodate up to 10 people. The best rooms feature canopied extra-large doubles that exude luxury beach vibes.
